Basic and detailed engineering is performed by a state-of-art design facility equipped with all latest engineering tools and software including Staad Pro, SAP2000, Etab, Tekla, SAFE, Primavera, RISA, Prosteel, Rivet and AutoCAD, and the presence of experienced and qualified engineers, surveyors, quantity surveyors and detailers. An extensive communication network is in place for data transmittal, document control and project management to ensure smooth interaction between all respective departments.

Procurement

An experienced group of specialists provides procurement and expediting services for plant equipment and bulk materials. This system allows us to facilitate fast-track procurement through an established network of suppliers.

Construction

Complete general contracting services integrating civil, mechanical and electrical are our core strength. Over the years, we have invested in acquiring a large asset base of construction heavy machinery, plants and equipments.

Commissioning

Expertise in developing procedures and systems for providing plant & other electro-mechanical equipment commissioning services and operator training is available on demand to our clients.

Turnkey Projects

Not only does SKB has substantial in-house engineering facilities, but it also enjoys working relation with a number of leading engineering consultants for undertaking turn key projects. SKB regularly seeks support of these consultants in areas of architectural & engineering design, feasibility studies, project evaluation etc.

Management Information Systems

SKB has been utilizing latest software tools and server based communication system between all the wings of company to create solid data base and communication network of all activities, which cover not only Engineering & Construction Management but also Finance, Stores, Procurement, Estimation and Business. All project sites and offices are connected on-line with dissemination of information related to project monitoring, accounts, administration etc. All information is linked to a central data base used for corporate decision making.

Quality is our top priority. In all its construction activities, SKB follows quality control programs in line with international standards. Our staff has long been following standards like AASHTO & ASTM. The company achieved ISO 9001-2008 certifications.

Safety & Loss Prevention

Strict application of safety standards is likely to decrease the number & severity of accidents. It prevents loss of time and money which benefits both the Contractor & the Client. SKB has recently embarked on a comprehensive Safety Program for all its operations Manual & Plans, maintenance of records and training of staff. The company achieved ISO 18001-2007 certifications.
